- Nancy
- Proud Nana of seven "grands" (all are brilliant, beautiful and exceptionally kind) -I practice illustrated journaling in a moleskine with a micron pen and Derwent Inktense pencils. I am enjoying retirement spending my time writing, painting, working on "this old house", traveling around the country in my RV, and loving on my grandkids every chance I have

As a child, I hated this poem - it seemed so cruel to label children just by the day they were born, bad enough to be labelled by sex. All my children were born on a Thursday because that was the obstetrician's induction day and none of them would come even after weeks of delay - for 3 kids, I did 8 extra weeks of pregnancy.
