I love this drawing. I like the way you managed to show the bricks, I always find it hard to decide whether I should draw them all or just suggest them with colour or whatever. You made a good choice here, methinks. :) Nice work!
Nancy - It's wonderful! Great brick work and the vegetation is just right! It would be SOOO cool to do a series of one-room schoolhouses, I'll check back in to see what you find. Aren't W/C pencils fun!!
What a charming old building, Nancy! There's one near here that reminds me of that...good job, I agree with Nina and Brenda!
You have a lot of great posts since I've last been around, Nancy! I love the "old Mom, new Mom entry and this schoolhouse is just beautiful..it seems to have quite some sentiment nestling around it...love it.

Thanks for visiting our blog. When I'm not so tired I'll read through your recent postings. We had too much on today, including the funeral of a 95 year old great-grandmother from a dear friend's family.

thanks for visiting Nancy. dont think I want poison ivy. Its interesting, I am a Libra too and expecting another grandchild in November, I hope my last as the oldest is 22!!
My husband went to a one room school too, down the valley, now converted to a house. He has many tales of cow dung fights and riding the horse down which then had a bad case of flatulence all through the classes.
